War, genocide, disease and abandonment have left South Sudan with a large population of orphans.  St Bartholomew's Orphanage in Kajo Keji is a privately funded facility that provides for approximately 120 children. After first visiting the orphanage in July 2012, Pure Joy Foundation has returned to bring stuffed animals, gifts and solar lights to the children. We intend to continue supporting the orphanage in the future as we find ways to help.
