Bidi Bidi will soon be home to our first girl’s boarding school, which will house up to 100 girls. The boarding school eliminates the young women’s dangerous walk to school and ensures they get an education rather than being forced into becoming a child bride or child mother. The boarding school relies on our farming initiative, Sewing Success, to provide meals for the girls. With your support, we hope to open the Bidi Bidi boarding school in January 2025!

 

Nimule Ebenezer Baptist Secondary School began sheltering girls who refused to marry and were abandoned by their families. The school’s dormitory currently houses 16 girls but can accommodate up to 50 students.
